The article was written by a local newspaper in Robe, South Australia. Before establishing Don's Kitchen, Don Tan began his culinary journey in a small town in South Australia, where he worked at a restaurant called Dragon Village. This marked the beginning of many important experiences in his career.

FOR a taste of the Orient this summer, look no further than Robe's Dragon Village
Chinese Restaurant.
Just metres from the beach, this popular eatery serves sublime Chinese, Malaysian and Thai cuisine.
Chef Don Tan is tireless in his quest for new taste sensations. "I like to create something different for people to try," Don said.
So even if you're after something you don't see on the menu, just ask.
The restaurant is fully licensed, with a wide range of wines and beers to suit your meal.
This summer there will be many new spe-cials, so you can enjoy a tasty meal at a low cost.
The restaurant is open seven days a week and Don is happy to prepare special ban-quets.

This article, though concise, is truly impactful. Reading about Chef Don Tan's dedication and his quest for new taste sensations, it's clear his passion shines through in every dish. I found it incredibly interesting, and honestly, it's made me genuinely eager to try his cooking at one day. Although, Don Tan is currently semi retiring. If you are lucky, sometimes you might be able to get his cooking when in Don's Kitchen Midland or Burham. As all good chef sometimes, does cook behind the scene.
